The Prophecy: The Return of the Amazons

And so it was written, on the papyrus of the day, what the oracle foresaw. It was passed down, generation to generation, in the secret sisterhoods. Many societies have their own version of the prophecy, for it was well known at the time, but this is the original.

CCXXIX

It has come to pass, the return of the Amazons. Having awoken IX years earlier, the cycle was complete, the awakening total. They awoke with perfect knowledge and use of all their prior skills: intuition, honor, swordsmanship and archery, partnership with animals and nature, and perfect lethal aim. The Ancient Warrior Queens sprang up, across all the earth. They were of different colors, and countries and languages but they had a single uniting factor: freedom. They recognized no authority outside of themselves. These warriors of the earth, and the men who stood beside them and fought with them, butchered the snakes that had fed off the earth’s pain for thousands of years. The ancient warriors, who bowed to no one except the innocence of a child, slaughtered the pedophiles, the rapists, the abusers. In the reckoning the Amazons harvested every bit of snake and burned it, they destroyed every seed and root of the vile creature, they erased its very existence. And thus, the ancient ways of balance were restored, and heaven on earth, once again revealed.

The dark will try to use prophecies, twisting them to make their own agenda. But know this, the Return of the Amazons was written into the tapestry of the universe long ago, it cannot be undone. Fate of this nature is immovable for it is Reckoning herself. When the light looks upon the dark, they can see it clearly. The dark can never look at the light, and therefore, it cannot see it clearly, for if the dark were to look upon the light, it would no longer be dark.
